Hey BBC members – we’re looking forward to you joining us for our second exclusive Beatle Brunch Club on-line chat, with former Wings Guitarist Laurence Juber. Laurence was in the final Wings line-up, and is best remembered for his work on the 1979 “Back To The Egg” album. But his role in Wings extended to several other recordings and performances to look back on when you join us on October 29th (7pm EST). To help you get ready, here’s a list of recordings and performances you might want to check out:

Join the Beatle Brunch gang on location in one of our favorite cities in the world, “Music City” Nashville USA for The Fab Four Festival 2008, Friday and Saturday October 24th and 25th at the Cannery Ballroom in Nashville.

We were there in ’05 at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center, and I can tell you, this is a MUSIC fest, with lots of Beatle Bands, and so much more, so Shake It Up Baby!

I’ll be there along with my producer Don E. Gee tearing it up with our Beatles Trivia & Name That Beatle Tune contests. We’ll be giving away some great Beatle Brunch prizes too, Like Pete Best’s new CD, “Hayman’s Green”, plus we’ll be looking for personality driven Brunch listeners to interview for a post fest wrap up show, so have your request ready. There will also be a Beatles lookalike contest on Friday for $1000.00 prize, so bring your wigs and amps!

Guest panelists include May Pang, Nancy Lee Andrews, Gary Burr, Neil Jeffries, Joey and Kathy Molland, Seth Swirsky, author and filmmaker; and yours truly Joe Johnson. Buy tickets in advance and get more details at www.fabfourfestival.com. We’ll see ya there!

The greatest Beatles fans in the world will be in Nashville, Oct. 24-25 for the Fab Four Festival 2008 at the Cannery Ballroom!

The two-day event features live music, informative panels, and a wide array of Beatles memorabilia. We will be celebrating the 43rd Anniversary of the British Invasion.

The event kicks off Thursday, October 23 with a Patron’s Party, including a silent and live auction of prized Beatles memorabilia, artwork and other must-have items as well as a performance by The WannaBeatles. Friday, Oct. 24, live performances by FAB and the Liverpool Legends rock the house. Saturday, Oct. 25, festival goers can choose from several panel discussions featuring authors, songwriters and other close collaborators of the Fab Four. Saturday night features more live performances, including Joey Molland, Marshall Crenshaw, Buzz Cason and Bill Lloyd headlined by The Long Players performing Abbey Road. There will also be some surprise guests, so stay tuned. It is going to be an outstanding event. Go to www.mercylounge.com.
