A Fab Hello from The Club!
Read all about The
Beatle Brunch Club, and please join us
online! Go to BeatleBrunchClub.com and for around 7-cents a day
you can be a full password protected member. We have spent 16
years presenting the award winning radio program, Joe Johnson's
Beatle Brunch, to you free of charge, and we will continue to
do so, but we ask for your support to take the show to a new dimension
and level.
Also, read about our Beatle
Brunch Cruise. We've hosted these cruises
before, but they were very cost prohibitive, in the thousands
of dollars per person. Well, we've put together a more affordable
cruise that's 4 nights and starts at $409 pp and includes some
Beatle celebrities, radio personalities, and a killer Beatle Band,
"The Return". I've seen these guys. Not only are they
terrific, but they are the ages The Beatles were when they played
these songs originally. You will really enjoy them.
Lastly, we had a fab time at the
NJ Meadowlands Fest, as witnessed by
the great photos and story you'll see here. We will definitely
see you in Las Vegas the weekend of June 29th, so come on out!
You can "bet" you'll be full of LOVE (at the Mirage
Hotel) and leave with lots of Beatle Brunch prizes in our Trivia
and Name that Beatle Tune contests, we'll also have a special
edition for kids.
Cheers!

The Fest Was A Big Success!
.
Special
report by Tom Frangione
THE FEST was jam-packed with fans making up for lost time and
drawn by a stellar list of guests and special Beatle Brunch events.
Many of the fans also stopped by the Beatle
Brunch Table in the dealer room to meet Joe
Johnson & Tom Frangione
and Beatle Brunch artists Anthony Parisi
& Rob Korhonen, plus a guest appearance by our pals
Rik Sansone and Steve
Altman. Joe J and Tom
Frangione handled the hosting of the Beatles
Trivia Contests and the Name
That Beatle Tune competition for great Beatle Brunch prizes,
like Help! shirts, DVDs, CDs, Ringo posters and bumper
stickers and more. One of the highlights was the Kids
Trivia, which was a blast for fans and family!
Tom
Frangione moderated a panel on the "Get Back / Let It Be"
sessions with Doug Sulpy and Ray Schweighardt.
Joe also interviewed Nancy Andrews
(Ringo's girlfriend for about 5 years in the late seventies).
Nancy's new book "A Dose Of Rock And Roll" is a terrific
collection of snapshots of Ringo and some "very special friends"
from that era.
Fans were able to delight in performances
by two members of Wings - guitarist Laurence
Juber and drummer Denny Seiwell.
Their renditions of Wings material and a few songs from the White
Album (with a little help from Mark
Hudson) was an awesome show!
Apple
Records honchos Alan Steckler and Ken
Mansfield were on hand for a special panel with our Beatle
Brunch pal Bruce Spizer.
Joe also followed up on his original
interview with Ken Mansfield,
one time Apple rep in America. Kens new book, The
White Book is chock full of intimate stories about his years
with the boys.
Look for us again in Vegas the end of
June and August in Chicago! And as always, stay tuned to Beatle
Brunch for all the latest news on the Fests and Ringo's
Summer Tour! And listen for interviews with fellow fans
on special upcoming installments of Beatle Brunch spotlighting
Linda McCartney and others.
